The Intouchables

Good morning and a happy sunday to you all;=)

I couldn´t sleep last night and therefore I put on this wonderful movie - the Intouchables. My mum has recommended it and I really liked it:=) Especially when knowing it´s a true story.

It shows that even if coming from totally different worlds, we can give each other something both need;=) A really nice movie and I recommend it to you all! Maybe a sunday movie for you? I rented my movie at Itunes.

Hi Anette !
I teach French to foreign people and we watch these films with them. We have different nationalities from Europe, Asia, Africa, Middle East... Some only speak a little French, others have a good level. And all of them like this movie. And as it is based on a true story, the message is stronger.
Have a nice Sunday !

Hello Anette, the film is really very real intouchable.
Myself, i work in a structure with old people who have almost all big handicaps both physically and mentally and it is not easy every day.

Take a good day

Isn´t this the one with the man in the wheelchair and the social worker or so...? The black guy doing this crazy painting somewhen...? I don´t know most of the words I want to use to describe it -.-
But if it´s this movie - it´s one of the best movies ever!

Oh so happy that you liked a french movie :)
Its indeed a really good one and couldnt stop crying at the end :( you cried too?
Hope you watched it in french (with subtitles of course :))!

That movie had a massive succes here in France, everybody talked about it, went to see it, Omar Sy received prizes and he now got his statue at "le musée Grevin" (like madame tussaud)!

Have a good day my dear!
Love and hugs

It´s fantastic movie. I have seen it twice in one week and it doesn´t lost its magic even for the third time. Funny and nice.

Yesterday I watched a movie called My sister´s keeper and it was very very touching story, I cried almost all time during the movie. Maybe a good tip for somebody who doesn´t know it yet. :)

Hello Anette!

I'm so happy you liked this! I watched it twice atthe cinema, and both times laughedlikemad! It has been very popular here in France, Omar Sy, "Driss" in the movie, is such a sweet guy!

And nope, no sunny sunday for me :(I's been raining since friday afternoon here, soooo boring, even tough our garden needed it!

Take care!

Proud to see one movie of my country on your blog! ♥ You can watch "Ne le dis à personne" ("Tell no one") with François Cluzet. He is very talented and excellent in it!

It looks like a great film. It reminds me of two films I have seen before. Guzaarish is about a paralyzed man in India and the woman who cares for him who falls in love with him. (It's beautiful but also heartbreaking.) And Finding Forrester, which has a unique friendship between a young but very intelligent street boy and a crotchety old writer. Maybe you'll like one of those movies, too. Guzaarish is quite romantic and the two lead characters are beautiful!

Take care,
Rose
